I am a licensed psychologist and marriage & family therapist in practice for over forty years in Ann Arbor and in Farmington Hills , Michigan. My hours include some evening times at both locations.  My services are covered in part by Aetna, PPOM, Cofinity, MESSA, St. of MI, Medicare, most Blue Cross plans and many other insurances.

My approach to counseling, coaching, and consulting is practical, solution-oriented, relatively short-term, and responsive to individual needs, goals, and interests.   My manner is informal, relaxed, and client-focussed.  I find that humor can lighten and illuminate the many quirks and challenges that we all face at times.  I don't believe that therapy needs to be grim in order to be effective.  I consider individual and couple therapy an engaging, gratifying, and cooperative team effort.
